El Salvador has the safest travel rating from the US government and is what many people call the Costa Rica of 20 years ago. This retreat is a break from the monotony of daily life and an opportunity to be fully present in so many different activities. Choose your own adventure from surfing and/or horseback riding, to participating in community service at the local dog sanctuary, or simply lounging by the beach or pool.

The low-down on surfing….

To rent a surfboard for the full week it is $225 or $45/day. Store your board in your room all week! Surf lessons are available for $80, which includes equipment.

What about giving back to the community?

The local dog sanctuary is five minutes from the hotel. You can volunteer, or even adopt, a dog. The hotel hosts an English Academy where you can participate, observe, or bring supplies. Beach clean-up is always a great way to get to know the local community. Every little bit helps keep the coastline beautiful.
